I'm proud to announce that Izubiaurre (also known as Eledhtamion) has joined the project. We hope that together we can take FBMX to an stable release as soon as possible.

Flamebird MX

Although no news has been posted for a long time the fact is that Flamebird development continues slowly. We have decided to update the web to announce some important issues.

  • The project will no longer be called Flamebird(FB2) but Flamebird MX, which is the current development version. We found that many people called Flamebird 2 (when actually there wasn't any Flamebird 1). This situation obiously was caused in part by us (the downloadble file was missnamed Flamebird2.11) and by the use of the acronym FB2 (we decided not to use FB for not confusing it with Firebird). So future versions will be called Flamebird MX (Media eXtended).

  • Several important changes have been made to FBMX sources (almost all files of the project have been modified). Some bugs have been fixed and new features have been added (the more important ones are those related to map and fpg edition).

  • We need new icons for Flamebird MX so if any pixel-artist is interested in collaborate, please contact us.

Flamebird still alive

The FB2 Team is glad to announce that the Flamebird project has been retaken. Our aim for the next release is to fix some bugs and add some needed features that could not be implemented in the first beta.
Any opinion or comment related to the project will be very welcome.

Danko (Darío Cutillas) - Developer
